Overview

KOZI Coffee 2.0 BUDARAA is a hidden gem nestled in the serene setting of Jl. Bukit Dago Utara No.28, Bandung. Far from the noisy streets, this coffee shop inhabits an old house that has been artfully transformed into a cozy sanctuary. The atmosphere feels like home—a blend of classic charm and modern comfort—with quiet indoor corners and a refreshing green outdoor area. It’s ideal for those who seek a calm spot to work, reflect, or simply savor a sophisticated cup of coffee.

At the heart of KOZI Budaraa’s appeal lies its meticulously crafted menu. The coffee here strikes a delicate balance between serious and approachable, evident in offerings like the Pillow Coffee and Pour Over, designed to honor the essence of quality beans without overwhelming the palate. The Strawberry Milk Coffee is a standout—a creamy, fruit-infused drink that softens the boldness of espresso with just the right hint of palm sugar sweetness. Meanwhile, Blue Tea and Blue Lemon Tea provide refreshing alternatives that hint at creativity beyond the typical coffeehouse fare.

Food at KOZI complements its beverages well. The Dori Sambal Matah and Chicken Wings bring vibrant Indonesian flavors that pair delightfully with the drinks. For those craving something sweet, their churros and Kold Brown Salted Caramel offer a satisfying finish. This thoughtful menu caters to diverse tastes, from the traditional coffee lover to the adventurous palate.

Beyond food and drink, KOZI Coffee 2.0 BUDARAA cultivates a warm, almost communal experience. Working professionals appreciate the fast Wi-Fi and quiet ambiance where laptops hum softly in private nooks. The presence of friendly cats adds an unexpected layer of comfort—clean, well-cared-for, and beloved by patrons—which enhances the relaxed vibe. The space suits creatives, remote workers, and coffee aficionados alike.

Despite its many strengths, the venue has a few caveats. The lighting is intentionally muted, creating intimate corners but also resulting in limited brightness. Non-smoking options are limited and closely situated to smoking areas, which might deter some visitors. Navigating the entrance requires patience, as the place is tucked away in a small alley—part of its charm as a "hidden coffee shop."

In essence, KOZI Coffee 2.0 BUDARAA embodies a refined yet inviting coffee culture. With its distinctive drinks, homely interior, and delicate fusion of food and atmosphere, it offers a compelling experience for those who value quality, tranquility, and a little discovery in Bandung’s bustling cafe scene.

Staff is very helpful in assisting us. Interesting menu but too sweet for my liking. Good for working as everyone is opening their laptop and quiet. Wifi is fast. Would come back and try more drinks with less/no sugar

One of my favorite place in Bandung to hang out! The food is great and the drinks are also great. My go to orders are kosangsu with charcoal foam and also brisket rice. Kosangsu itself is a coffee with a taste of Banana, which in my opinion is very unique. The brisket is plated with barbeque sauce. Wifi is also fast here and there is musholla for fellow muslims. The only downside is the place is dimly lit and the non smoking room is limited plus near the smoking room. Oh additionally, there’s a lot of cats here!

The coffee's great, no cap! The atmosphere is very nice, it's very ' classic home-ish' I personally really love the decorations of the place itself, it's very cozy, cold, and comfortable. Oh and there are so many cats, they're clean, sterilized, cute, and friendly. Love them! In addition, the only difficulty was to find the location, the entrance is small, I have made 2 u-turns while looking for this place. But it's not a big deal.

With the success of Kozi Lab in a warehouse located in a busy area of Bandung, it is no surprise that they have opened another coffee shop in a different location. (In fact, there are now even more Kozi Labs open in both Bandung and Jakarta). This time, they chose a large house in the Dago Atas area and transformed it into a B&B and coffee shop. And it's really good! Kozi Budaraa is located in the Budaraa Compound in the upper Dago area, precisely at Jl. Bukit Dago Utara No. 28, with a ‘hidden coffee shop’ concept in a small alley, utilising an old house that has been transformed into a cosy, cool, and quiet coffee space; the interior feels like an old house, complete with a green outdoor area and several private workspaces that can be rented. I really like old houses like that because they still retain their own charm, still have very high-quality components, and the atmosphere feels pleasant. It's much more pleasant than the rigid concrete buildings that have been popping up in Bandung lately. I ordered their Strawberry Milk Coffee (often written as ‘Strawberry Milk Cruits/Criuts’), which is a cold milk coffee mixed with strawberry flavour—so it's not a thin strawberry latte, but a creamy milk coffee with a distinct fruit note. Their menu description emphasises the soft/creamy texture and refreshing strawberry flavour, plus a touch of palm sugar sweetness that is Kozi’s signature in many of their milk drinks. In terms of its blend, this is a ‘friendly’ type of drink: the coffee still tastes like the base (usually espresso/black coffee), but the acidity and bitterness are softened by the milk and fruit, making it suitable for those who want coffee but want something playful and dessert-like. In my opinion, this place excels in two areas: coffee that is ‘serious yet approachable’ (not just in style, but genuinely delicious and well-crafted), and an atmosphere that makes it easy to have long conversations or work remotely without feeling rushed by the hustle and bustle of the street. Worth trying.

Cost-wise, KOZI probably a bit pricey, but you will find it worth it for its various menu for both foods and beverages. Just like the name, they offer a cozy atmosphere for every activities, from reading a book, work, hanging out with your friend, etc. Great taste and nice ambience. the only downside is that they don't have non-smoking room. Mostly outdoor and semi-outdoor, this won't bring much problem, but it's still not wise, kinda, to bring your kids along.

Their speciality is Kosangsu (Iced Coffee with banana syrup) you can add pillow topping with various flavors, my favorite is charcoal topping! Only on this place you can taste the homey taste of Brisket Rice Bowl simple yet savory

A hidden gem. Located a bit hidden, in the corner side, in front of parking area Dago Tea House. You can find a plate name of 4 cafe. And there you go. You can park your car/motorcycle in the parking area of Dago Tea House or just around. The ambience is realy nice, retro concept. Quiet place, perfect for work or have a little meeting with collegue or just to have a "me time" to relax here is also nice. There are also some power outlets. There are indoors and outdoors area. The outdoor area is nice. The blue lemon tea ice is also good, it's refreshing, and pleasing to the eye. The service is also really good.

Got so many good memories here. Ada beberapa layout dan placement yg berubah, tp overall vibes were still the same. Dingin, agak suram tp tenang, all quiet and peaceful. I’ll always come back till I cant count, and I’m gonna bring my future family. Please Kozi, hang in there, jangan pernah tutup yaa!
